# About Me
I'm Remington Braninburg—artist, father, coder, and survivor who creates from the margins.
My work doesn't come from comfort or privilege. It emerges from the raw intersection of survival and creativity, where most people never dare to look. I learned to code while living homeless in my car. I paint with the intensity of someone who's seen both the beauty and brutality of human experience. I build functional art that serves a purpose beyond decoration.
I'm a polymath by necessity, not choice. When life strips everything away—home, stability, safety—you learn to build from whatever remains. Code becomes shelter. Art becomes oxygen. Each discipline feeds the others: street art informs canvas work, coding structures composition, writing provides the framework for everything.
My bipolar disorder isn't a limitation—it's an amplifier. During manic phases, I absorb new skills at lightning speed and see connections others miss. In depressive phases, I create work that resonates with authentic human pain. My art swings between extremes because life does too.
Everything I create is ultimately for my daughter. She needs to see persistence over perfection, to know that creativity survives any circumstances. I want her to understand that making something is always better than destroying something, that imagination is the one thing they can never take away.

# My Philosophy
Experience without wisdom is worthless. What matters isn't how much you've been through, but how it shapes your vision and character. My experiences have given me a vision that extends beyond personal success to cultural impact.
I want to prove that authenticity has commercial value, that depth has market appeal, that the most powerful art comes from places where polite society fears to look. I'm the chaos artist who brings order to destruction, creating work that matters regardless of circumstances.
This isn't just about making art—it's about proving that creativity survives everything.

# The Story Behind the Work
I taught myself coding while homeless, living in a broken-down SUV for two years. Halfway through that journey, thieves stole my bike and backpack—including my Chromebook with months of unfinished digital art and unpushed code. The bike was a gift from a kind bus driver who saw our struggles.
Instead of giving up, I found smaller hardware and kept building. I forgave the thieves—they were surviving the only way they knew how. Now I work from wherever I can, sometimes typing on my phone in less-than-ideal conditions, still driven to create from whatever remains.
This experience has cultivated my reputation as a rogue creator, delivering projects that resonate with people seeking freedom from corporate conformity.

Bi-Polar and ADD is my super power. Just a question of which one of me is for the hour? Father, Fighter, Artist, Poet, Convict, Addict? Whiskey neat or a whiskey sour?
